DAVE ELLETT

Ellett is currently serving as senior vice president for A. H. Belo Corporation and president and General Manager of Belo Interactive Media (BIM), a position he has held since May 2008. He is responsible for managing the Company's interactive media division which is focused on developing innovative solutions and digital product offerings.

Ellett has held various senior positions in several Internet-focused businesses prior to joining A. H. Belo. Most recently, Ellett served as CEO and Chairman of Powered, an industry-leader in building social commerce Web sites for major brands and publishers. Before joining Powered, Ellett served from 1998 until 2002 as Chairman and CEO at Docent, Inc., a leader in enterprise e-learning and business performance management. Prior to Docent, Ellett was COO at Business Objects, a leading decision support software company, from 1997 to 1998. Ellett served as corporate vice president/Worldwide Education for Oracle from 1994 to 1997, and served EDS from 1981 until 1994 in a number of key management roles including president of the Performance Services Group.
