GEORGE FINFROCK

George F. Finfrock is currently serving as vice president/Corporate Controller for A. H. Belo Corporation, a position he has held since February 2008.

Finfrock brings more than 19 years of accounting and audit experience in various industries to A. H. Belo and has spent the last 10 years serving as controller for both public and private companies. Finfrock joins A. H. Belo from Choice Homes, one of the nation's largest homebuilders, where he served as corporate controller. During his tenure at Choice Homes, Finfrock managed financial and operational processes with a focus on performance and decision-making interpretation of data. Prior to joining Choice Homes, Finfrock served as vice president/Controller of Home Interiors & Gifts, Inc. and was responsible for managing regulatory and SEC reporting. Finfrock has also been the director of finance at Bombardier Aerospace Corporation, a $1 billion division of publicly-traded Bombardier, Inc. Finfrock served as controller and auditor in various organizations prior to his experience at Bombardier.

Finfrock received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Baltimore in 1988 and is a Certified Public Accountant.
